• I am currently earning my Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

When I am not at work, I always enjoy sitting down with a good book, getting outside, spending quality time with friends and family, and working with my horses. 

What is your background?

I grew up in Wichita, KS before moving to Lincoln to pursue my academic career at UNL. Before working at BMG, I had part-time jobs that involved working with and teaching elementary-aged kids. My greatest role models are my parents, who have supported me through everything, even changing my career track to accounting!

In auditing, the concept of materiality is, simply, setting a threshold that anything under that threshold won’t materially misstate your financial statements.
