  • I am currently earning my Bachelor’s in Accounting at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I enjoy being outdoors (hunting, fishing, hiking, etc.), keeping up with motorsports, and going to the gym. I also like to bake on the weekends and share it with my family after dinner.

What is your background?

I grew up 30 minutes east of Lincoln in the country on an acreage. We always had a few outdoor cats to keep the rodents away and a dog that weighs about as much as the cats. I’ve been interested in accounting since high school, where I had an excellent business teacher. Shortly after starting college, I started at H&R Block and worked there for 2 years while working at the UNL Landscaping Department the last 2 summers.

 

 

 

In auditing, the concept of materiality is, simply, setting a threshold that anything under that threshold won’t materially misstate your financial statements.
