What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I love spending time with my husband and my dogs.  I enjoy following Major League Baseball, and even name one of my dogs after the Los Angeles Dodgers team, (his name is Dodger). I love to be outdoors, go for walks, and explore the surrounding areas of Lincoln. As a special treat on occasion, I love to go out for frozen yogurt.

What is your background?

I grew up in Brea, California as the oldest child of our family; I have one younger sister. I went all through the Brea school system and eventually went to Cal Poly Pomona, my dad’s alma mater.  I had originally hoped to follow in my dad’s footsteps to become a Purchasing Agent for the City of Brea as he was, but I discovered during my time at college that my interests were a little bit different than his. After college, I went to work for a Payroll Processing Company, and the rest has been history ever since that time.

What makes you excited to come to work every day?

I enjoy a challenge, and the opportunity to assist and even teach others in areas where they are not familiar with the subject, such as payroll.

What are the values that drive you?

My motto in life is to treat as I want to be treated.  With that in mind, I will treat you as if you are my immediate family, act in your best interest, empathize with your current situation and help you achieve your objective as effectively and efficiently as possible.

What are your credentials/past experience for working in your position?

I have spent many years working on the Payroll Processing Company side, as well as doing payroll directly for clients. I am familiar with multi-state payrolls and the ever-changing laws that come with payroll. Having worked on both sides of the spectrum, I have been able to make the full circle to understand expectations from both a client and Payroll Processing Company perspective.

What concept in your profession that applies to your entire life?

Do the right thing, even when nobody is looking.
