• I am currently earning my Bachelor’s in Accounting and Management from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.

   

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

Hanging out with friends and family, watching movies, pickleball, tennis, concerts, and walks. I also volunteer at the Business and Professional Women’s Annual Car Show

What is your background?

I grew up in Clay Center, Kansas, where I lived my whole life before college. Before BMG, I worked in the ER registration at the hospital. I also worked as a waitress at the country club and babysat for a few families. Both of my parents are CPAs and my sister, Caitlyn, is a senior accounting major at UNL. So, accounting runs in our blood!

In auditing, the concept of materiality is, simply, setting a threshold that anything under that threshold won’t materially misstate your financial statements.
